In her remarks, the Head of BPS Kuningan Regency, Ms. Irna Afrianti, S.Si, M.E conveyed the urgency of training activities in making field implementation successful until the processing of SUSENAS – SERUTI in 2023. She conveyed that the output of the implementation of the National Socioeconomic Survey (Susenas) was one of an important source of household socio-economic data in Indonesia. Therefore, the continuity, availability and quality of Susenas data must be maintained, maintained and improved, bearing in mind that Susenas data has been sought after and used by various groups of stakeholders who use BPS data, both at home and abroad.

Furthermore, he said that several objectives to be achieved through this Officer Training activity included:

1. Provide an understanding of the importance of Susenas for BPS

2. Provide provisions to be able to understand concept definitions, procedures for filling out questionnaires, flow of questions, document checking, and overall SOP for March 2023 Susenas field implementation.

3. Provide provisions to Candidate Officers to understand the classification in KBLI

4. Provide an understanding of the indicators produced by Susenas

5. Candidates for Officers can carry out experiential learning activities

6. Candidate Officers can discuss the settlement of cases and problems

At the end of his remarks, the Head of BPS, Kuningan Regency emphasized the maintenance and improvement of Susenas results. The quality of data from Susenas is strongly influenced by two things, namely sampling error and non-sampling error. In an effort to obtain quality data from a low non-sampling error side, then in its implementation (data collection) it is necessary to have officers who are responsible and able to carry out the data collection properly, so that there is a need for training of officers as a provision for field officers.
