Focus Group Discussion (FGD) Publication of Kuningan Regency in Figures for 2023

Entering 2023, BPS is again required to be able to meet the needs of data users, by publishing various publications and statistical news releases whose news is eagerly awaited by data consumers. One of the many publications whose data is very strategic and highly anticipated by data users, especially the central, provincial and district/city governments, is the Regional Publication in Figures which contains various important and strategic data and information for each region in the previous year.

In accordance with Callendar's Advance Release (ARC), BPS, especially Regency/City BPS, has an obligation to be able to publish District/City Publications in Figures at the beginning of the current year or to be precise on February 28.

In an effort to carry out this task, on Thursday, 16 February 2023, the Kuningan Regency BPS as Sectoral Data Trustees together with the Communication and Informatics Office as Walidata and Bappeda under the auspices and coordination of the Kuningan Regency Regional Secretary, held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) activity for the preparation Kuningan Regency Publication in Figures 2023.

The activity which was held at the Horison Hotel Ballroom – Tirtasanita, Cigandamekar District was attended by 41 guest participants from OPD, vertical agencies, representatives from academics and Universities in Kuningan Regency, BUMN, BUMD and others.

The Regional Secretary of Kuningan Regency, Mr. DR. Dian Rahmat Yanuar, M.Sc, who in his remarks and directions raised the theme "Kuningan District Government's Commitment in Supporting the Development of Sectoral Statistics in Kuningan District"

The Head of BPS Kuningan Regency, Mrs. Irna Afrianti, S.Si, M.E, when giving a speech at the series of events, said that the importance of data as a basis for development planning and evaluation. On that occasion he also submitted a report on the results of the trial implementation of the Evaluation of Implementation of Sectoral Statistics (EPSS) on a sample of local government agencies/agencies that had been carried out at the end of 2022 to January 31, 2023.

In addition, he also delivered a summary of the Publication results of the Long Form SP 2020 in a booklet which was symbolically handed over to the Regional Secretary, Head of the Communication and Informatics Service and Secretary of the Kuningan District Bappeda.

At the core of this activity a discussion was held with a roundtable concept where at each table there were 4-5 data sources accompanied by 1 facilitator who was in charge of synchronizing and inputting the latest data from each OPD and BUMD agency/agency where the final data would be published in the district book Kuningan in Figures 2023. This was done with the aim that the discussion regarding the preparation of Regions in Figures could focus on the objective according to the name of the activity being carried out, namely Focus Group Discussion.
