Opening of the 2024 Sakernas Officer Training BPS Kuningan Regency

Towards the Implementation of the 2024 Sakernas data collection, the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Kuningan Regency, Monday, January 22 2024, held a National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) Data Collection Officer Training Activity for February 2024.

This training was carried out to prepare field data collectors, to standardize concepts and definitions in order to ensure the quality of Sakernas data for February 2024. Training activities were carried out using a hybrid method, namely online meetings for 3 days and offline direct meetings for one day.

Head of BPS Kuningan Regency, Mrs. Irna Afrianti, S.Si., M.E in her speech said that Sakernas is held twice a year, namely in February and August with the aim of data collection on Sakernas February 2023 is to produce data on Employment indicators at the level national and provincial as well as producing data that is useful for making various policies related to employment, employment and unemployment. Meanwhile, at Sakernas in August, the results of the data collection were used for analysis looking at employment conditions at the regency level.

This training was attended by 6 field officer participants from Statistics Partners and 3 field supervisors from BPS Kuningan organic employees.

For Sakernas activities this February, field officers will work in 19 sample Census Blocks and collect data from 190 sample households.

Acting as Regional Instructors in this training activity are Mr. Arya Marhaendra, S.Sos from the Social Statistics Function and Mr. Andriyanto, S.Si as Regional IT Instructor, bearing in mind that the February 2024 Sakernas Enumeration will be carried out using the Computer Assist Personal Interviewer (CAPI) method, with the FASIH BPS application. In practice, enumerators will no longer use document/paper questionnaires but will instead use Smart Phone devices or tablets.

This survey targets families or households that have been listed per census block. Each census block will have its entire data included, such as the number of families, family members, and a more detailed sample will be carried out.
