Implementation of the 2022 VIMK Survey Enumeration

In August-September 2022, BPS again held the annual Micro Small Industry Survey (IMK) which was carried out in selected sample census blocks throughout Indonesia.

IMK statistical data contributes to government policies that are focused on empowering the people's economy, for that the collection of Micro and Small Industry Statistics (IMK) data has an important meaning for development.

From the results of this activity, it is hoped that:

To find out the profile of the Micro and Small Industry (IMK) potential areas in Indonesia that can be used as material for planning macroeconomic activities.

The target for the IMK enumeration is micro and small scale companies/businesses. its usually are processing industry company with less than 20 employees.

In Kuningan Regency itself, the sample enumeration of the VIMK Survey was carried out starting on September 1, 2022 after previously updating households and micro and small industry businesses in the selected sample census blocks.

In this implementation, the VIMK survey enumerator, Mrs. Acih Umiasyiah from Jalaksana subdistrict, seemed to be conducting interviews with a sample of micro and small industry businesses with different categories.

The thoroughness, accuracy and deep probing of the VIMK survey enumerators are needed to dig up detailed and clear information so that clear and detailed information is obtained about the business structure, wages, costs and profit and loss margins of micro and small businesses. It is hoped that the accurate and detailed data collection results will produce appropriate data outputs for analysis and development policies carried out by the government, especially for micro and small industry players.
