When Youth Care in Data

The world today is changing quite rapidly. Various transformations have occurred in almost every aspect of life. Starting from the development of mechanical and robotic technology to the development of software engineering and artificial intelligence.

However, among the many transformations that have taken place and are currently taking place, changes in data have received the greatest attention. As it is known that nowadays data plays a vital role in every aspect of life. Everything needs data and data must be in every thing.

The Central Bureau of Statistics as a non-departmental institution appointed by the government in providing statistical data has an important and strategic task. Various efforts have been made by BPS in providing and meeting the data needs that are awaited and needed by related parties.

The Statistical Published Book is one of the main and superior products of BPS, especially BPS Kuningan Regency in providing various data collected from various data producers from various agencies/agencies and other sources. The Publication Books issued by BPS Kuningan Regency contain various important and strategic information that are needed especially by local governments in formulating regional development policies and programs.

Concern for data and information, especially regarding Kuningan Regency, is shown by several students of the Field Work Practice from the State Vocational High School (SMKN) 2 Kuningan.

According to PKL students consisting of Dian Puspitasari, Risma Tri Wahyuni, Syifa Nabilah, Dea Septiani, and Sofiaturrohmah who have participated in the internship program at BPS for almost 3 months, Data is a very valuable thing. Planning requires data, without data as great as plans. anything will fail (Dian). Risma said that only stupid people act without data. Building without planning and accurate data is the dumbest thing (Dea). In line with Risma, Syifa believes that smart people are people who think and act based on data. Finally, Sofi said that who wants to know more about Kuningan, see and read the various publications of the Kuningan Regency BPS.

It's time for us young people to care about data, data is a window to the world to see a brighter and more focused future.
