provision and Assistance for Functional Officials in BPS Statistics of Kuningan Regency

Bureaucratic reform at the Central Bureau of Statistics, especially at BPS Kuningan Regency, has been going on for almost a year. Various improvement and adjustment activities are continuously carried out to anticipate and adapt to all the changes that occur.

One of the aspects that has changed significantly related to the implementation of bureaucratic reform at BPS that occurred was the streamlining of the organizational structure which involved all BPS work units starting from the central level to the Regency/Municipal BPS.

The downsizing of the organization carried out by BPS led to the loss or abolition of structural positions for echelon IV for Regency/City BPS and the elimination of echelon III and IV for Provincial BPS and RI BPS.

As a replacement, for structural officials whose echelon was abolished, they are directed to have careers through functional positions, be it statisticians, computer administrators or other functional positions whose formation is available at Regency/City BPS.

To empower and evaluate the performance of functional officials at BPS Kuningan Regency, on Tuesday and Wednesday, 13 and 14 December 2022, together with examination and evaluation of the BPS West Java Province finance team, assistance and guidance has been carried out in preparing the List of Proposed Credit Scores (DUPAK) for functional statisticians at the Kuningan Regency BPS, which were attended by 6 expert-level statisticians and 8 skilled statisticians, as well as 5 general functional employees.

Mr. Hari Afdani, S.Si as a member of the Credit Score Submission Assessor team as well as a functional statistician supervisor, in his direction emphasized the essence of the importance of submitting a DUPAK and certain tricks to submit and get an optimal PAK score.
