Area Sampling Framework (KSA) training

Monday - Tuesday to be precise on February 20-21 2023, the Kuningan Regency Central Statistics Agency (BPS) held a Paddy Area Sampling Framework (KSA) training, which was attended by 35 participants. The Area Sampling Framework is a data collection method using technology to produce data estimation of rice harvested area that is more accurate, objective and real time. Area Sampling Framework (KSA) whose data collection process uses satellite and software. Through this method, agricultural statistical data collected is expected to be more accurate and timely compared to using conventional methods. From the value of the observations recorded by the KSA officers, later it will be determined when the estimated harvest will be, and which observation point will be harvested. This activity was collaborated with the Ubinan officers themselves, as well as from officers from the appointed agricultural service. Before the training started, Irna Afrianti, S.Si, M.E gave a little direction that it was important that the implementation of KSA was carried out properly, because food crop data is very important, food crops are the main source of food for the population, this implementation needs to be done well to see the productivity of food crops in an area, especially in Kuningan Regency.

The first day of training Zezen Zaenudin, S.ST, MM and Ilham Teguh Purnomo, SE, as inda explained the material, tools used and how to use the Application, on the second day, field practice was carried out in Cilaja Village, Keramatmulya District, the activity went smoothly. The participants were very enthusiastic about carrying out the activity, step by step it was carried out well. The purpose of this training is to refresh the knowledge of officers and provide confirmation regarding the development of concepts and definitions in the ASF Survey, bearing in mind that most of the trainees have become KSA officers in previous years and by collaborating with the agricultural service, it is hoped that this KSA implementation will produce results. useful and quality data.
