Changes towards a better direction in improving the quality of service and increasing Human Resources for the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) continue to be made from time to time. One effort that has long been advocated for the realization of this activity is through bureaucratic reform. In fact, this is the main task of the activities of the Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (Kemenpan RB).
The Bureaucratic Reform Program is implemented with the aim of creating a professional government bureaucracy with characteristics, integration, high performance, free and clean from KKN, capable of serving the public, neutral, prosperous, dedicated, and upholding the basic values and code of ethics of the state apparatus.
In its implementation, Bureaucratic Reform, especially those carried out at BPS, requires someone who will be the driving force behind change activities, hereinafter known as a Change Ambassador. CA has an important role in supporting the success of change management programs at Regency/City BPS. They are expected to be a driving force and motivator for other BPS employees to participate in change.
In line with the program above and in order to support the success of the program, and to follow up on the letter from the Head of BPS West Java Province Number B-199/32000/TS.410/2024 concerning the Election of Change Ambassadors for 2024, on Thursday, January 25 2024, BPS Kuningan Regency has held democratic activities in the form of Election of Change Ambassadors in 2024.
The mechanism for selecting Change Ambassador CA at BPS Kuningan Regency is carried out online using a Google form, where all employees of BPS Kuningan Regency have the same right to select the best CA candidate.
The CA candidates are all employees except the Head of District BPS, Middle Functional Officials, Functional Coordinators and previous period CAs. Apart from that, the CA candidates who will be selected must meet several requirements such as: Not currently serving a disciplinary sentence, being responsible for every task given, being disciplined and upholding the employee code of ethics and being consistent in enforcing disciplinary rules and the code of ethics.
Apart from that, there are also other requirements in terms of quality or qualifications, such as: Able to have a positive influence on the organizational environment, innovative and proactive regarding efforts to improve the quality of implementing bureaucratic reform.
From these election activities, Mr. Raditya Novidianto, S.Si, M.Stat was selected as Change Ambassador for 2024. It is hoped that with his election he will be able to mobilize BPS Kuningan Regency employees to help each other and collaborate to spearhead change, especially at BPS Kuningan Regency in in 2024.
