The Quarterly Household Economic Survey (Seruti) is a household-based survey which is an integration of three surveys, namely the National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas), the Quarterly Household Consumption Special Survey (SKKRT), and the Household Savings and Investment Special Survey (SKTIR) which aims to reduce duplication of activities and increase efficiency, as well as produce higher quality household economic statistical data.
The Quarterly Household Economic Survey (Seruti) is designed to compile household economic indicators on a quarterly basis. The Seruti activity is an activity that is integrated with the National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) in March 2024, where the Seruti sample is dependent (the same) as some of the Susenas samples.
Variables collected in Seruti 2024 include household information; quantity and value of food, drink and cigarette consumption in the last week; value of non-food expenditure for the last month and 3 (three) months; value of income, receipts and non-consumption expenditure for the last 3 (three) months; position of household assets and liabilities; as well as perceptions of household economic conditions.
At BPS Kuningan Regency, Seruti Field Officer Training Activities were carried out as an effort to maintain and improve the quality of data from the Seruti enumeration results. Understanding and uniformity in the concept of field officers, both PCL and PML Seruti, is one of the keys to success and maintaining the quality of Seruti data. This training was carried out in a marathon and even coincided with the implementation of survey training activities on the Social Statistics Function at BPS Kuningan Regency.
Similar to the Sakernas and Susenas training which was carried out earlier, the Seruti Field Officer Training was carried out using a combination method of independent learning through watching video teaching materials for one day, followed by Distance Learning (PJJ)/online for three days via zoom meeting media. and finally closed with a face-to-face (offline) meeting and practice filling in the questionnaire for one day.
The number of officers involved in the implementation of Seruti March 2024 is 29 people, consisting of 19 Field Enumeration Officers (PCL), all of whom come from BPS Statistics Partners, Kuningan Regency and 10 Field Inspection Officers (PML), all of whom are entrusted to Organic Employees. BPS Kuningan Regency. Meanwhile, the number of samples that will be enumerated in Seruti March 2024 is 190 households in 19 Census Blocks. This means that each PCL will only enumerate a sample of 10 households in only one Census Block. Meanwhile, each PML on average The average will supervise the implementation of the enumeration and check the enumeration results from the two PCLs.
