Implementation of Updating of the 2024 Susenas – Seruti Household List BPS Kuningan Regency

On February 1 2024, all Susenas - Seruti BPS officers in Kuningan district simultaneously carried out the first stage of Susenas-Seruti March 2024 in the form of updating the list of households in the 2024 Susenas - Seruti sample census block.

The March 2024 Susenas sample size of 65 census blocks will be updated by 33 Field Enumerators (PCL), so that each PCL has an average load of two census blocks to be updated and enumerated sample households will be carried out later. Meanwhile, the number of census blocks that are sampled in Seruti is 19 Census Blocks, which will be updated and enumeration of sample households will be carried out by 19 PCL people.

In its implementation, the Field Inspection Officer (PML) has the obligation to assist, accompany and direct the PCL in carrying out the task of updating the household list in the selected census blocks. This supervision is absolutely necessary to guarantee and ensure that the implementation of the update is in accordance with the SOP. Not only that, the daily development and progress of the implementation of updating the household list is also monitored not only by BPS Kuningan Regency via the link in the Google spreadsheet, but also directly by BPS West Java Province via the Simonsus Application.

PML's role in updating is very urgent, apart from being PCL's discussion partner, PML also has the burden and responsibility of overcoming various problems and/or doubts experienced by PCL in the field. For this reason, the Social Statistics Function of BPS Kuningan Regency is always responsive by always providing updates regarding various confirmations or the latest definition concepts in the implementation of updating the household list.

The number of households that must be updated in each census block varies, which will of course cause different problems. The level of difficulty in updating in urban areas is certainly not the same as PCL's difficulty in carrying out updates in rural areas or even remote, hilly and inland areas. However, armed with experience and guidance in carrying out training both offline and online, independent learning and face-to-face with regional instructors, it is hoped that all updating problems can be resolved appropriately so that updating the household register can be completed according to the predetermined time schedule.
