Official News Release Statistics for April 2024

In accordance with the Main Duties and Functions (Tupoksi) of the Central Statistics Agency, where BPS is a non-ministerial government institution whose task is to organize and record all national and international statistical data in accordance with statutory regulations. One form of actualization of BPS in carrying out its main duties and functions is by holding an activity entitled Release of Official Statistical News.

Official Statistics News (BRS) is a media published periodically, which contains summaries of social and economic phenomena based on the results of statistical activities organized by BPS.

The Official Statistical News Release has become a mandatory calendar for BPS, both Central and Provincial BPS and even certain district/city BPS, where in this BRS Release activity, BPS has the task of conveying data and changes on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or even annual basis.

April 1 2024, BRS Release has been carried out by BPS RI followed by BRS Release by BPS West Java Province. The data developments displayed in the BRS Release for April are:

Development of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) or inflation, Development of the Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP), Development of Grain and Rice Prices, Development of Tourism and Development of import exports and development of transportation.
