Quarterly 2024 IMK Survey Field Officer Training

Kuningan, 07 October 2024 - The Quarterly Micro and Small Industry Survey (VIMK) is a routine survey conducted by BPS every three months and is a sample survey of micro and small scale industrial businesses/companies. Micro industry itself is an industrial business/company that has a workforce of between 1 – 4 people, while small industry is an industrial business/company that has a workforce of between 5 – 19 people. In general, the IMK Survey aims to determine the growth and profile of the micro and small industrial business sector.

In October 2024, the Quarterly IMK survey will enter the third quarter, where the enumeration mode now uses the CAPI (Computer Assisted Personal Interviewing) mode. This is different from previous quarters which still used the PAPI mode, so it is hoped that the data processing process can be faster and more accurate.

On Monday, 7 October 2024, BPS Kuningan Regency held Quarterly Micro and Small Industry Survey Training (IMK24-S1). This officer training is in preparation for the implementation of the 2024 Quarter III IMK Survey Activities organized by BPS Kuningan Regency. This training activity was officially opened by the Head of BPS Kuningan Regency, Irna Afrianti, S.Si, M.E.  with a total of 1 class using the Face-to-Face Learning method which is located in the Kuningan Regency BPS Hall.

The number of training participants was 6 people consisting of 4 partners who served as PCL and 2 organic employees who served as PML. With 2 regional instructors (Inda), namely 1 Technical Inda and 1 Processing Inda because the enumeration method uses CAPI.

It is hoped that by holding this training, prospective 2024 Quarterly IMK Survey officers (Quarter III) will be able to understand the concepts and definitions related to the implementation of quarterly IMK surveys and will also be able to produce quality data for data users and as a basis for policy making and development planning.
