Implementation of KSA (Rice Sample Area) in November 2024

Kuningan, November 26, 2026 – Sampurasun Sobat Data, How are you doing? Hopefully they will always be given health and smoothness in all their activities. Today BPS Kuningan Regency is carrying out KSA (Rice Sample Area Framework) Observation activities for November 2024.

The Area Sample Framework Survey (KSA) is an area-based survey conducted by direct observation of a sample of segments and aims to estimate the area by extrapolating from the sample to the population in a relatively short period (rapid estimate).

The Sample Area Framework (KSA) whose data collection process uses satellites and software. Through this method, the agricultural statistical data collected is expected to be more accurate and timely than using conventional methods. From the observation value recorded by KSA officers, it will determine when the harvest is expected, and at which observation point it will be harvested.

In Kuningan Regency itself, there are 114 Rice KSA Segments spread across almost all sub-districts in Kuningan Regency. This month's rice KSA observation has entered the 11th month (November) in 2024. As has been done by Mr. Nana Sumarna who is supervising KSA Padi activities in Bunigeulis Village, Cigandamekar District and Singkup Village, Japara District. In Bunigeulis Village and Singkup Village, there is 1 Segment of KSA Rice Observation each. In the area, the person who serves as an Observation Officer (PCL) is Mr. Gusto Rohmandhiat.

From the results of observations in November, most of the observations are coded 5 Land Preparation and also code 1 Initial Vegetatic. Because indeed in November it has entered the beginning of the rainy season, so many rice fields have begun to be processed and replanted.

Hopefully in the future the results of this KSA observation activity can be even better, to produce quality data for Advanced Indonesia.
