Unfortunately, most of the organic staff resources at the regional BPS are not sufficient so that it is not yet possible for all data collection to meet the needs of data users to be handled by all organic BPS employees.

For example, the Kuningan Regency BPS, which only has 30 organic employees. Meanwhile, in one type of survey, for example Susenas, sometimes up to 40 officers are needed.
This is only one type of semi-annual survey from one statistical section at Regency/City BPS, while in general the organizational structure of Regency/City BPS consists of one administrative sub-section and 5 technical sections, each of which has the main task of conducting separate surveys either on a regular basis. yearly, semiannually quarterly to monthly.


In this case the role and existence of statistical partners becomes very crucial. Honestly, without their presence, assistance and cooperation, BPS will not be able to produce all the data needed by data users. Various appreciations from BPS to statistical partners have been carried out, including in the form of selection of exemplary statistical partners which is held annually before the commemoration of National Statistics Day.


In addition, the compensation system for their efforts to help each task of collecting and processing BPS data began to be carried out with a non-cash system, but through direct transfer to the account number of the statistical partner concerned. This is to minimize any illegal levies or deductions from other parties.
