Socialization of Regsosek in the Form of Expressing Opinions in Mass Media / Online Media

The Socio-Economic Registration (Regsosek) data collection will soon be carried out in the territory of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, from October to November 2022.

The main objective of this Regsosek is the availability of data covering all households in Indonesia with the socioeconomic record of the household. In addition, Regsosek intends to compile an integrated socio-economic data of the population, so that a Data on Social Protection and Community Empowerment Programs in Indonesia can be formed.

No matter how great the desire of regional leaders, regardless of level, to formulate governance regarding social protection for their citizens, it will be useless if there is no honesty from residents about their socio-economic conditions.

The Regsosek program is not specifically intended to collect data on population poverty, but more broadly, Regsosek will also be used as the basis for social protection policies for the entire population.
