Consultation of Sobat BPS Application from Koseka of Japara

Registration for Regsosek Field Officer Candidates at BPS Kuningan Regency is nearing the end. Thousands of people have come directly to the Kuningan Regency BPS Statitics Office to submit files and complete the registration requirements to the Officer Candidate Recruitment Committee.

Among the thousands of registrants who came directly to BPS, lot of of them also came for consultation on the use of the Sobat BPS Application. The knowledge of prospective officers who are still unfamiliar with using the Sobat Application causes many errors to occur when logging in and registering or choosing the type of survey in the Sobat BPS Application.

Although the BPS Statistics of Kuningan Regency  Recruitment Committee has made a registration tutorial and detailed instructions for using the Sobat BPS Application which is linked directly to the registration link for Regsosek officer candidates, it is still due to the low literacy culture of prospective officers or the registrants' understanding of the use of applications on devices that are still lacking, errors in the registration stage for prospective officers online is still common.

As happened on Thursday, September 15, 2022, not less than 10 prospective Regsosek officers from the Japara SubDistrict, led directly by Mr. Hollis Marwan as the Japara SubDistrict Census Coordinator, visited the Kuningan Regency BPS Statistics Office and consulted directly with the Information Technology Team for Begining  Data Collection Activities of Regsosek 2022 at BPS Kuningan Regency.

Mr. Hollis Marwan as the leader of the group conveyed the aim in addition to completing the registration requirements for the Regsosek officer candidates, as well as for consultation and technical improvement of online registration for several Prospective Officers who have registered but are still experiencing technical problems. The representative of the BPS IT Team, which in this case is entrusted to the IPDS Function, Mr. Budi Setia Budi, S.IP, explained in detail the stages of online registration in the Sobat BPS Application, including anticipation and solutions when there are problems in the online registration stage. It was also explained that generally errors occur due to errors in filling in the email address and or password used by the registrant. For this reason, accuracy, caution and calm as well as quality as well as adequate device memory used in registering prospective officers into the BPS Buddy Application are absolutely needed.
