At the end of 2022, BPS Kuningan Regency again had the opportunity and honor to be visited by the Supervision Team from BPS West Java Province. The visit and supervision carried out by the Provincial BPS team was directly led by the Head of the General Section of the West Java Provincial BPS, Drs. H. Agus Praptono, M.Stat. the main purpose of the visit and supervision which was carried out for 2 working days was to evaluate and take inventory of various findings and errors in the administration of the 2022 Research and Research Preliminary Data Collection activities which had entered the data processing stage.
Identification and evaluation of the findings of errors in the administration and documentation of the 2022 Research and Research was carried out as a step in anticipation and preparation for further investigations by an audit team from the competent authorities, namely the BPS Inspectorate, the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
As it is known that in the last quarter of 2022, BPS received quite a tough task, namely the 2022 Initial Socio-Economic Registration Data Collection (Regsosek). This activity was carried out with very instant preparation and very short time. while on the other hand the government has also spent a significant amount of around 4.3 trillion rupiah to fund this activity.
For the Kunigan Regency itself, the implementation of the 2022 Research and Research Preliminary Data Collection Activities spent a budget of more than 13 billion. Of course, a budget of this size will be in the spotlight of various parties, including the financial audit team, to assess the level of effectiveness and efficiency in using the budget for the intended activity.
The results of the audit and evaluation as well as internal checks carried out by the West JUawa Province BPS Team were presented at a meeting entitled Exit Meeting Regsosek 2022 BPS Kuningan district which was attended by Leaders and Structural Officers, Functional Coordinators, Functional Statistics and also all BPS employees of Kuniongan Regency. The meeting also presented a resume of deficiencies and mistakes in administering the 2022 Research and Research activities, especially in terms of reports and financial administration.
Drs. H. Agus Praptono, M.Stat as the leader of the BPS West Java Province team in submitting the audit results report also gave instructions and directions for correcting deficiencies and revising various administrations with the hope that one day BPS Kuningan becomes one of the BPK or even KPK Inspection Objects, all errors can be minimized and anticipated, so that the 2022 Research and Research activities report will be considered good and in accordance with the rules.
